Time Flying By

It's hard to believe I have been in Czech for over a month already!  Some days it feels like I still just got here, but the amount of language and different customs I have been able to pick is definitely noticable.  It is fun as I am beginning to understand more conversations in Czech and not always need a translator attached to my side.
Last week, I had three more English Classes and lots of time with kids at club.  Over the week I taught lessons on "Olympics/World Cup," "Native Americans," and "Oceans".  The favorite game last week was one called "Is there a Jellyfish behind me?"  All the students and translators loved it so much; I think we played at least ten rounds!
(Dream Catchers we made in the "Native American" lesson.)

(Trying to guess which ocean creature they are.)

Last Tuesday, the team leaders of Plan B Club and I went into the Elementary School and invited kids to LetFest (English Camp, chapels, seminars, sports, and other elective activities).  It was great being back in the school again, and I was able to recognize many students!  My Facebook continues to get new friend requests from Czech students in the school, which is wonderful as I hope to connect with them through Facebook and continue to invite them to LetFest and Club time.

Czech students just finished school last Friday, so today's English lesson was about summer!  We made Summer Bucket Lists, pinwheels, and played a life-size board game.  This coming week will be filled with final lesson planning for LetFest as it is coming quickly around the corner!  I am very excited for the rest of my American Team to come on Thursday, but I have really loved seeing LetFest come together from this different point of view.  God is definitely showing how He provides in so many little ways while I am here, and I continue to thank Him for how He has blessed me this past month and in all the preparation leading up to this trip.
