This week has been wonderfully busy, filled with English Classes, sports, time with kids, some one-on-one English conversation practice, and time with friends. I know I have said this before, but I am truly blessed and thankful for each moment and activity I get to be a part of here.
On Monday, I had Children's English Class. We studied the topic of directions and parts of a car (wheel, headlights, seats, etc.). The students loved the game where they had to guide their blindfolded friend around obstacles using directions in English. The students also created racecar pictures and labeled the directions on their roads.

Mondays and Wednesdays I also get to teach an adults class. On Monday, we did a lesson on "Friends" and learned many words to decribe our friends. We played "Go Fish" with collecting cards with the same friend charateristic, but the class favortie was a PIT version of collecting four cars of the same friend characteristics. We all had fun trying to gather all the cards we needed to win and shouting out numbers in English! Our topic on Wednesday was parts of the house, so we played a board game that went through all the parts of the house and created little origami houses to decorate, label, and describe to the class. Overall, we had lots of fun!

I also had the opportunity to visit Brno twice this week (a large city about 40mins away). The first visit was to spend the day with some friends who live there. We visited many parts of the city, had a picnic, ventured through multiple city gardens, and enjoyed spending time together. As we were walking through the town square in Brno, one person handed me a small flyer inviting me to some English classes... I must look more Czech than I thought! The second visit was shorter because my host sister just had a quick appointment, but we enjoyed the time just the two of us.

For ReStart Club on Friday, we played some Tag games, soccer, and elimination basketball. The kids also practiced a Bible Song they are learning - and lucky for me, this song is in English! We also had Youth Group on Friday night. Our speaker shared more on the Holy Spirit and the value of love that Paul continually mentions in many of his letters. I find it a very interesting topic and always something more to learn! We also play many games at youth group, and I love to spend the time with friends - we always have a great time!

I am looking forward to all the events of next week and excited to see how God will continue to work throughout each day.
